T27 V80 Firmware - BLFs Inoperable with Freeswitch
Hey Guys,
We recently purchased some T27 phones that run a new firmware, 45.80.0.25. The BLF lights do not work. I've confirmed positive SUBSCRIBEs, and NOTIFYs being sent to the phones, to which the phone responds with a 200 OK, but no light.

I believe this may be with the dialog-info, perhaps it does not like/recognize the state? Firmware V72 works fine on the T26/28, etc. I was hoping to have a tech take a look at this. I can get you pcaps from the router and phone alike if required. Below is a snippet of a NOTIFY sent by my server that did not illuminate the BLF. I've tried multiple BLF modes (0,1,2, etc) not no avail. Thoughts?

RE: T27 V80 Firmware - BLFs Inoperable with Freeswitch
Hi,
Thanks for your information.
For the issue, the light of BLF key on T27 won't be changed when the monitor extension changed its states.
Would you please share us config.bin file, pcap trace and level 6 syslog that we can submit them to the engineer for debug? it will be much better that you can provide the config.bin file , pcap trace and level 6 syslog for 26 which can work well that we can compare .
Also please let me know how many phones you have ? all have the same issue?

Best Regards!
Flora

RE: T27 V80 Firmware - BLFs Inoperable with Freeswitch
I noticed that as well. I will update my firmware now and retest.

That did it. Thank you for your help. I will be testing a T38G with V70 firmware soon that is being reported the BLFs go online/offline and do not update status sometimes. Are there any known issues I should be aware of?

RE: T27 V80 Firmware - BLFs Inoperable with Freeswitch
Hi,

We had the same issue. A short test with the 45.80.0.26.rom is working fine.
I'm know unsure if the T27 is ready for the production.
Are there still some other issues with the T27 and FreeSWITCH?
I'm asking because, I need to prepare an offer for a client and I need to choose the right phone model.

Thanks,
Raphael

RE: T27 V80 Firmware - BLFs Inoperable with Freeswitch
So all,
Interesting screwed-up situation. The Yealink does NOT send a REFER when attempting to transfer or place a call on hold during an inbound call. It works just fine with an outbound call. The inbound call, it sends an INVITE to the server. So what does this mean? That my server sends back a 481 Call leg/trans does not exist, and the call drops. I have officially exhausted all avenues, and am most likely going to return the phones. I've attached 2 pcaps. One of an inbound call, one of an outbound call. I'm hoping that you have seen this and can point me in the right direction. It does it every time so it's very reproducible.

In these pcaps, you notice I downgraded in hopes that .25 would work, but that wasn't the case. I'm happy to upgrade back and provide the same captures with the same behavior.

RE: T27 V80 Firmware - BLFs Inoperable with Freeswitch
Hi Rob,
For the transfer issue, do you mean the scenario is like below,
T27 are in the call with another party B
T27 press transfer button, dial B's number and press OK button , when B answer the call , T27 press transfer button again ,right ?
in this case, T27 first should send Invite message to hold B and then send the Refer message and when inbound call, the phone send the invite message normally but the server response with 481 . is there any brand phone that can work well?

If yes, would you please share us the pcap trace for the working brand phone?
and also ,please provide us config.bin file , pcap trace and level 6 syslog for these two scenarios that we can ask the engineer to check .
You can refer to below link,

Best Regards!
