Phones doesn't follow SIP server IP changes.
When using a hostname for the SIP Server the phone will not move to another server if the IP for that host changes. If my server is abc.com and I change the DNS for this from 1.1.1.1 to 2.2.2.2 it will stay connected to the first one without ever changing. This seems to be happening across multiple models of Yealink. My Cisco/Linksys, Grandstream, and others seem to follow the DNS changes fine. The DNS is set to refresh every 90 seconds and I have given the phone 24 hours and it is still connected to the first server. We do not use the failover sip server setting as we have multiple locations and depending on the situation we control it through the hostname resolution to move phones to the most available server. Any idea why it sticks to one server?

Hi Garfieldone,
Do you change the priority in the DNS server? The phone will register to the highest priority server if it's not down.
Here's our DNS-SRV instruction, hope this can help you:

RE: Phones doesn't follow SIP server IP changes.
We do not use a weighting as we have never used the SRV records to do any of this. We change the A record to a different IP and all the other brand phones move. During every registration they do it by the SIP server name. If the ip of that server has changed it moves. We do this so that we will not have some phones jumping to an unexpected server if they have an issue in route to the first. We also always need all phones to stay on a single server only which is why the A record is changed.

Think of it like this one. They do it automatically, or it can be done manually.
