LLDP incompatibility between T28 and Cisco SG300-52P
Good morning,

We have recently purchased Yealink T-28 phones that do not seem to be working with LLDP when we plug them in to our Cisco SG300 switches.

We tried updating to the firmware on both phone and switch in a test environment and get the same issue in that the VLAN is not configured on the phone.

The phone details are as follows:
Yealink T-28P
Hardware version is 1.0.0.53
Firmware: 2.72.23.3

Switch details are:
Cisco SG300-52P
Firmware Version 1.4.088

As I say we have tried updating firmware on both in a test environment with no luck.

Any older Yealink T-28 phones work with no issue and are assigned the correct VLAN
Known working phone:

Firmware Version 2.70.23.10
Hardware version is 1.0.0.53

We have downgraded the firmware on the phone that was not working and can confirm that this works with the latest Cisco firmware.

Is this a known issue and will this be fixed in upcoming firmware?

Ideally we do not want to have to downgrade firmware of all new Yealink T-28 phones we purchase.

If anybody has any ideas or knows of known problems with the latest firmware, then any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I did try raising this with techsupport at Yealink but they are being a little slow at getting back to me.

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to know if you have finally found the solution to this scenario. I'm having similar issue with T21 V72 and SF300 cisco switch.

For more info, on Cisco switch I have voice vlan oui-table configured.

Thanks in advance,
