EHS36 - Wireless Headset Adapter plus Plantronics Online Indicator Light

I just wanted to let people know who use the purple/red led "Online Indicator Light" from Plantronics ( P/N: 65116-02 ) that if they want to use it with the EHS36 you will need to buy a small stereo earphone splitter from radio shack (expensive but handy) or monoprice ( 3.5mm Stereo Plug to 2 x 3.5mm Stereo Jack Splitter Adapter - http://www.monoprice.com/products/produc...&p_id=7204 ).

We plug the splitter into the EHS36 and then plug the light and cord to the headset into the splitter.

We have been using this setup for a year and a half and it works well.

Throw that one up to RND.
We use a lot of your ehs adapters. You should develop your own online indicator that can hook into the ehs adapter. We would buy the indicator them that's for sure!

Thank you Snowsam, I have run into this exact problem recently. On the old system (Nortel with lifters) we were able to use these indicators. With the newer system (Yealink with the Yealink EHS adapter) we have't been able to use the in-use indicator. It's good to know this will work. I will try it tomorrow. Thank you!

Yealink - a pass-thru port in the EHS adapter or Y-adapter with the EHS adapter would solve this problem. Thank you!
