Phantom Internet calls
Is there any way to block phatom internet calls. The calls appear in the missed call list of the phone as number (any where from 3 to 9 digits)@ local ip address of phone. i have tried using the block call function in the phone book but there isnt enough entries and i have also tried using blockout call in the dial plan and that fuction has not stopped it all. Grandstream has a feature where you can block unknown callers and Yealink really needs to implement this feature as i may have to change these phones to Grandstream otherwise.

Here is what i used in blockout call as on this pbx, there are a total of six legitimate extensions 101, 102, 103, 201, 202, 203. It would be alot easier if it wouldnt accept calls that werent from the registered domain or something like that, which Grandstream has.

Sorry for the inconvenience. You can try to add below syntaxs to your cfg template(M7 template) and auto-provisioning it.
1). You can try this syntax in CFG template.
Code:
#!version:1.0.0.1
#The x of the parameter "account.x.sip_trust_ctrl " ranges from 1 to max accounts. For example, x ranges from 1 to 5 of W52P.
​#You need to confirm which line you used.
account.x.sip_trust_ctrl=1
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When you want to enable this sip trust control for account 1, fill 1 to “account.1.sip_trust_ctrl”.

Then SIP messages from other servers will refuse by the phone.
2). If it still doesn't take effect, you can disable the “Allow IP Call” in webpage or auto-provisioning and try again.
Code:
#!version:1.0.0.1
#Enable or disable the phone to dial the IP address directly; 0-Disabled, 1-Enabled (default);
features.direct_ip_call_enable = 0

If you don't know how to set it via autop. I attached the software, cfg file and video for reference.

And about the ghost call issue, we will consider to suggest our product department to add the SIPtrust parameter on the web GUI. In order to let the customer more convenient to use. Smile

Thx for the reply. You definitely need to make this part of the gui. I doubt many are using Internet calling any more. Where is the button to allow Ip calling???

About the allow ip call, please accee to the web gui->Features->General Information tab, you can see the " Allow IP Call" option and you can change value by yourself.
