T22P disable call timer
Hello:

I have a customer with several T22P phones. He's complained about the call timer that shows up whenever a call is in progress; he'd much rather see the calling phone number information that is displayed prior to answering the call. Is there a way to disable the call timer?

If not, can this be added in the next firmware revision?

Thanks!

Hi Jim,

What's firmware your customer is using?
In V73, T22 can display phone number + calling ID, you can let the customer upgrade phone to this firmware.

Firmware link:

RE: T22P disable call timer
Hello. My first message here. I haven't started a new thread - advanced search helped me.

We bought 50 T21P phones. The situation is the same - when the conversation is active, the caller id number is not shown fully because of the big digits of call duration.

Our PBX is configured in such a way, that the caller id number is shown this way: Office-XXX <country_code city_code city_number> <caller's number>, e.g.:

Code:
Office-001 73522608294 7922573xxxx

And the last number - the caller's number - is displayed only before answering the call.

Is it possible to change the size of call duration digits?

Tried 34.72.14.3 and 34.72.14.5 firmware. I decided not to try firmware designed for T20 ot T22, I think it may be risky.

Thank you.

Hi Lexus45,

T21 don't support displaying the caller's number in LCD currently. It will be supported in next firmware which can be available several month later.

The V73 firmware of T20/T22 can support it. Firmware link:

Hello, Yealink_James, thank you for the reply.
Yes, I saw your link above, but I'm afraid to use the firmware for T20/T22 on T21 phone, though they seem to be very alike.

Can it damage the T21 phone? If it's OK, of course I will use.

Sorry Lexus45, I don't make it clear.

The firmware of T20/T22 can't be uploaded to T21. They can only be used to corresponding model.

Please wait the next firmware of T21.

Hello James.
Are there any news?
4 months have passed.

We have T21 and T19. Both don't display CallerID Number.

UPD:
As I see there is a new v80 firmware - http://www.yealink.com/SupportDownloadfi...6&flag=142

Trying to upgrade...

UPD:
no success when 34.72.14.3 ---> 52.80.0.3
but successfully 34.72.14.3 ---> 34.72.14.5
and now trying to uprgrade to 52.80.0.3

By the way, is there any FTP/HTTP whith all versions of firmware? I just found only hyperlinks to the latest releases: http://www.yealink.com/SupportDownloadfi...6&flag=142

UPD:
unsuccessfull 34.72.14.5 ---> 52.80.0.3

You hijacked this users thread and broke one basic rule.
It seems like the T21P is an abandoned product now the T21P E2 is a different device I would not try to upload any kind of firmware designed for it to the T21P. You have to look at "other products" there the T21P is listed.

There are many firmware-versions scattered all over the ftp server but there is no v80 and I think there will never be an upgrade.
