T46 start call from callhistory

T46 start call from callhistory
I'm experiencing a bug with a new T46 running firmware 28.80.0.70, when i try to call a number from an ingoing call in callhistory.

when i call the number i attempts calling <number>@<someip>@<some address>
this does not happen when i pick an outgoing call from the history.

i've tried upgrading an older phone to the same firmware, and can't reproduce the problem.

Is this fixable through the configuration the phone gets when autoprovisioning ?

edit:

had a similar issue with T48, and solved it with this line in the configuration: "features.redial_via_local_sip_server.enable = 1" this doesn't solve it for T46.

please reset the phone to factory and then use the auto provision sentence below :

custom.features.redial_via_local_sip_server.enable = 1

It works.

Why is it necessary to factory reset the phone, and is there any way to avoid having to do that ?

Having to factory reset all phones if we want to upgrade is not ideal.

Hi,

In general, factory defaulting is always recommended after a firmware upgrade. no matter which make model. I have seen this with Yealink, Snom, and Grandstream products.
