Protect History by a password
Hi,

Is there a way to protect by a password the "Call Log" (History) access on the phone (not the web) by a password?

Almost like "Phone Lock" feature but only for "Call Log" access.

hi

for the present , there is no phone lock just for History key ,

normally , the History is often used like redial and so on , why you need to lock it ?

Hi,

We need that only the owner of the phone can look at his/her call history for security reasons (our intenal policies).

It is mandatory in our company and we have it with our current Nortel PBX.

Can you tell us what to do to have something similar?

Hi,

we have a similar situation here.
You should be able to use the new user rights management. There you can define different rights for each user (admin, var, user). Take a look at Yealink SIP-T4X_IP_Phones_Configuration_Guide_for_User_Access_Level_V73_40

A nice way is t lock the phone, too. If the phone itself is locked, every other information, like the call history is secured, too.
