New Yealink customer

We are a new Yealink customer and are deploying the w80 dect system in a retail environment in stores ranging from anywhere from 80000-120000 square feet.

We just rolled this out in our first store and i have a question in regards to the W59R's we are using on our W80 Base stations. We have the majority of our phones all sitting in charging stations mounted on a wall in the employee breakroom lounge area. When they are charging they are turned on which means they are communicating (although not active) with the nearest dect station correct. At any time on a typical day their may be 20-50 phones sitting their unused. What, if any impact would this have on the availability of the closest dect station. Could that cause performance issues?

It would be nice if these phones could be powered off while charging at the same time but it appears that for some reason that just isn't a thing.
