Automatically display hyphens in the phone number

I have an AT&T desk phone that automatically uses hyphens in the phone number. For example, when an incoming call arrives it is displayed as:

801-555-1515

The Yealink phones display incoming calls as:

8015551515

Could you please add this functionality to a future firmware release?

may i know that why customers need this hyphens in the incoming number ?

for the present , Yealink phone can't support this and if it is necessary , then we will collect and submit to our product department for evaluation .

Using hyphens helps make the phone number more readable, especially if there is no name associated with the incoming call. Does this make sense?
