EHS36 for Plantronics CS520

Okay, - this answer may be somewhat too late. ;-) However, - I have found the reason of that problem. There seems to exist a fundamental incompatibility with new EHS36 models (which contains firmware 4.16.0.0) and old V7x based IP phones.

I can confirm this for the T38G IP phone model. Solution: EHS36 firmware downgrade!

I am now on EHS36 firmware v2.16.0.0 and my Plantronics CS540 is working almost perfectly! So everyone which has the same problem should try a EHS36 firmware downgrade.

Regarding the T26p IP phone model I recommend EHS36 firmware v3.16.0.0. This one should be the correct one for V73 firmware based phones (like the T26p).
