TIME OUT FOR DIAL-NOW: MINIMUM = 1 SECOND - acrz6666 - 10-26-2013 07:34 PM

Hello.

Why is it not possible to reduce the time out for dial-now rule to 0 seconds? I do not see the benefit of waiting one second, the minimum.

Regards.

I feel the same way. The phone should have the ability to dial as soon as a Dial-now rule is found.

Especially when the "Using Dial Plan Feature on Yealink SIP-T2XP Phones" guide says this (on page 3):
NOTE:
1) By default, the delay time for Dial-now would be 1 second
2) Configurable time would be 0~14seconds

Thanks,
Benoit

Neither T42 nor T46 allow setting value 0 for the dial-now time out. Both are on the latest firmware available: V72 (29.72.0.25 and 28.72.0.25)

0 seconds is not good. I can't dial a 7 digit local call hat is near match to an internal extension.
Ie
Internal extension 4954
Local number 495-4000

If I have wait set to 0 - then I always get 4954 and not 495-4000.

Just wanted to update this post.
In version 73 beta 2 release notes. It states
"Fixed the issue that Time Out for Dial-now Rule cannot be set to “0”.

I have tested it and zero does indeed work on the T46 and T48 now
