SIP-T46G Headsets - mike366 - 10-19-2013 11:30 AM

Anyone know of a really good headset for the T46G? Thanks

Hi, I am using the Plantronics Voyager Legend, very good indeed. Note that the T46G does not accept the Plantronics BT300 dongle and generic Bluetooth 3.0 and 4.0 stack (what I have tried), so use a high quality 2.0/2.1 adapter.

Thanks: Is it as simple as just plugging it all in? Any configuration necessary for the T46G to support the usb dongle, etc?

Just plug the dongle in, go to 'Menu', 'Basic', then 'Bluetooth', turn Bluetooth on and start the pairing process. When paired (one-time-process), to use the headset for outgoing calls, touch the 'Headset' button on T46G, you should be set. On incoming calls, you can just press the answer button on the headset itself. You may opt for having the headset connected all times (headset button lit up on T46G). However, that will drain the battery on the headset faster than connect/disconnect as and when. Hope that is useful.

Very useful, is there some default password to connect the legend? It asks for password to connect to bluetooth device, I put in phone password, it does not connect. Thx

Ooops, google is great, "0000" thx for the great synopsis pcpac
