VPN settings - ditkar - 11-28-2012 07:09 AM

I want to use this phone from my home. I have all the VPN settings that I need to connect my office network with me. I am able to connect to my office network without any issue.

Can I be able to use the same settings in this phone to connect directly to my office network which has the IP PBX. If yes, are there any examples that I can look into?

Thanks,

Deepak

Hi Deepak,
Yes, you can use the OpenVPN feature that the phone can connect to the office network from your home.
For how to enable the OpenVPN feature, please refer to the attached file" Instruction on Open VPN.PDF" file.

It would be great if this information was on the CD and User guide PDF

I have a question regarding creating the .tar file.

1) the link http://www.yealink.com/fae/client.tar does not work
2) My OpenVPN based systems places passwords on the .key file. How do I tell the phone the password for the .key file

Hi Jasesimmons,
1). Sorry, i forgot the link has been deleted, i added a new tar file for your reference. For the VPN configuration, please consult your Openvpn Provider
2). Sorry, Yealink phone only use the Certificate authority to do the authenticate.
