Call Park Pickup different with T3x and T2x - vondie - 10-15-2013 09:36 PM

Hello. I'm new to this forum and this is my first post.

I am setting up a 3cx system and I have several T32 and T22 phones and one T38 phone. I have programmed two of the DSS line keys to Call Park using SP0 and SP1. The curious thing is, once a call is parked, there is a difference in how I can pick up the parked call depending on which phone type I use.

The T22 will allow the parked call to be picked up with the handset on the hook or off the hook.

The T32 and T38 can only pickup the parked call with the handset on hook. If the handset is off hook, the line key does nothing and the call remains on hold.

I have updated to firmware x.70.0.168 on all the phones and have the same issue.

Any ideas?

Tim

Thanks for the reply Craig. I guess that lets me know it's not something I've programmed incorrectly.

Being new to Yealink, what options are there available to get something like this changed/ fixed?

Hopefully they (Support) will see it here and work with you on getting some log files and/or recommending a fix.

Hi vondie,

Can you tell me your PBX of T32/T38?
In order to debug, please supply us Syslog level 6, config.bin and trace.
Before you export the syslog, please set log level as 6, and reboot the phone, then click Start, and reproduce the issue, then click Stop, and export the trace, syslog, config, bin to us.
(About where to export these files, please refer to attached screenshot.)

These three files are very important for us, hope you can kindly understand.

The PBX we are using is the 3cx software PBX. This issue exists with v11 or v12 of 3cx.

I have attached the three log files you requested from a T32 phone. The sequence I performed was the following:

1) Line Key 2 programmed with Call Park, SP0, Account1
2) Parked a call to SP0
3) Visually see parked call on Line Key 2 by LED flashing
3) Pickup handset of T32 phone
4) Press Line Key 2 key of the T32 to attempt pickup of held call
5) Call remains on hold (T22 would pick up held call)

Please let me know if you need anything further.

Tim

as far as I know you need to press the line key before you pick up the phone. We originally gave all of our 50+ users a line key for parked calls, but when people saw the flashy light on their phone they went and picked it up even though it wasn't for them.

To fix this I created a replace rule and I replaced 100 - SP0 101 - SP1 and 102 - SP2. So when a page goes out, "jasit, you have a parked call on 101.

I dial 101 on the yealink phone and it connects me to the call.

Hi vondie,

Can you re-supply a new log and pcap for me? Becasue your previous log didn't contain your issue, my colleague can't get enough information from your file.

I was afraid of that. Given my scenario the call simply isn't picked up. Should I expect there will be anything in the log? It's not like if fails, it just doesn't pickup.
