I upgraded some phones to 71 from 61. Did the hold behavior change? A user is reporting that when she puts a call on hold and dials another extension to check whether the person is in the office, the call is transferred to that extension.

Hi Armstrong,

The hold behavior of 71 is the same as 61. There is no change on hold behavior from 61 to 71. Can you check the user's steps on hlod and dials another extension is as same as mine like following?

1. User must press the New Call softkey after press the Hold button. User input the wanted extension number then press send on the New Call interface.

2. Your customer's problem might be he just press the extension number without press the New Call softkey after press the Hold button.
