EXP39 rebooting - dennisapol - 11-27-2012 07:08 AM

I've got an EXP39 expansion module attached to a Yealink T28P phone. Phone is working, but the EXP39 reboots continuously after 3 minutes or so. I have tried upgrading both the phone and the module to the latest firmware version but it did not change anything. We had the expansion module replaced with a new one but the issue still occurs. Any ideas?

Please download the EXP39 upgrade user manual from below link,
http://www.yealink.com/SupportDownloadfiles_detail.aspx?ProductsID=70&CateID=193&flag=142
After upgrade, please upgrade your T28 to latest firmware version(2.61.0.80), then try again.

If the issue still exist, could you please send the PCAP, config.bin and level 6 system log to us?

Please log on web UI, go to Upgrade->Advanced, then follow the below steps to get all the files?

1. Set the system log level to level 6,
2. Then click the confirm button, and do repower the phone.
3. Export the config.bin file
4. Please click start button, then reproduce the issue, When T28 reboot again, Pls click stop button. And export the PCAP file.
5. Export the level 6 system log.

I think I'm seeing something quite similar on some tiptel phones...
How does it look like when your EXP reboots?
