From the Web interface on the T42G, you cannot set a DSS Key to the type "XML Browser". According to the T4X XML Browser Developer's Guide, the T42G phone should be supported.

What's the firmware are you using?
Here i can find the xml browser in the T42G webpage, see attached picture.
Or could you reset to factory default and check again?

The firmware is 29.71.0.61 I have attached a picture of the menu choices and will try resetting later today.

I reset the phone to factory settings and got the same result: XML Browser is missing from the dropdown selection list.

You are correct, there's no XML Browser in this firmware, let me submit to R&D to check what's the problem, any update will let you know ASAP.
