Hi Guys
Regarding the T38 and T4X series phones with the color screen. Does anyone else out there wish the image icon could be disabled? It takes up alot of real estate on the screen and I only get to see 8-9 characters of the caller ID. In situations where you have a callerID with a hunt group name such as Support or Sales you only see the following "Support - Joh" instead of "Support - John Smith" due to the image taking up about 25% of the screen space. I really doubt many would use the image much anyway.
Was wondering if anyone else also feels this way? I wanted to start a thread and see if there were others like me and then I would forward to the development team to see if they would maybe add the "disable image" option.

Hi Luppas,
Now our T4x support scrolling the callerID,so it can display the whole callerID.
And our T3x phones will also do like this in the next firmware.
It's good idea that have an option to "disbale image", we already submitted this suggestions to our product department to evaluate, hope they can consider this in the near futher firmware.

Thanks yes I like the new scrolling feature however. I have to wait for the phone to ring 2-3 times before it scrolls across to read the name. Disabling the image would be very useful for me and my clients

Please download V73 beta firmware which can support disable the contact image.
The option is under Call Display interface.
