Random cutoff calls - peterf - 08-05-2013 04:39 PM

A customer is reporting calls that just randomly cutoff. The cutoff happens on T22P phones running the 7.70.0.140 firmware and the 7.70.0.130 firmware before that. I hoped the new firmware would solve the issue but it did not. The SIP service is network based not a PBX.

Looking at the SIP traces for cutoff calls the BYE always comes from the T22P. The time at which call cut off is variable as well. The call today was just under 3 minutes. A call last week was 30 seconds.

has anyone else had a similar issue, or got any ideas to fault find.

thanks

Hi Peter,
You said you are not use a PBX? So what service are you using?
Did you try with other brand phones, or other soft phones, and can they work well or not?
