VP530 and Elastix - paboj0493 - 07-12-2013 08:10 AM

Hi Everyone

We recently configure a telephone system based on Elastix ver 2.4 and my client desire to implement the new VP530 to perform video calls. We install the phones and configure it but no video appeared my questions are:

1. This models can work with this version of Elastix?
2. Which firmware version works properly under this environment?
3. Does these model required an specific configuration to work with Elastix?. If the answer is YES can you provide us documentation for it.

Thanks in advance

Hi Pabo,
I think in your Elastix, you need to enable video call or codecs.
You can refer to below instruction.
Hope this can help you.

Thanks for your help and interest. Im from Puerto Rico, USA, our company design a telephone solution for a Credit Union Company based on Elastix ver 2.4. It has 56 Yealink SIP t-22p and 5 VP530. The President want this VP530 phones to have videoconference calls with his department managers using the Elastix server for this purposes. The project also use two EXP-39 units but we discover late that we need phone like SIP t26p 0r 28 to connect this units. We tried to move forward to aquire this additional units.

Thanks in advance
