T33g issues with 3cx - cdomenech - 04-23-2024 08:33 PM

Hello, I found this thread on the 3cx forum, I am also having the same issue but I just swapped my topology with new aruba 6200m switches and still having the same issue as I thought it was a lan issue not the handset .


We are having issues on multiple sites with T33G Phones on v18 and v20. The phones randomly have audio issues like static with no call active when lifting the handset, no dial tone at all, static during calls. They do not have all at the same time. A reboot always fixes the issue at the time and later sporadically returns days or months later. This customer below just gathered recent data and sent to me. Hardware version of the phone is 124.2.0.32.2.0.16 and firmware is 124.86.0.40. This only happens to one or two phones a week so it has taken some time to see the T33G is the phone involved and then will not return for such a long period. I seen some other cases of this her in the forums but no fix confirmed. Is it possible the this issue was corrected in newer firmware that Yealink has on their website 124.86.0.75?

6110 – 04/17/2024 – No Dial Tone, and unable to hear anyone.

7125 – 04/12/2024 – No Dial Tone, and unable to hear anyone.

7110 – 03/20/2024 – No Dial Tone, and unable to hear anyone.

5111 – 03/20/2024 – Static and barely able to hear the other person.

7209 – 03/04/2024 – No Dial Tone, and unable to hear anyone.

5309 – 02/27/2024 – Static and barely able to hear the other person.

5205 – 02/23/ 2024 – No Dial Tone, and unable to hear anyone.

7302 – 02/21/2024 – Static and barely able to hear the other person.

4129 – 02/22/2024 – “My phone is very ‘Crackly’ sometimes during calls”.

Hi,

Because the phones are controlled directly by 3CX, I think this is more of a question for the technical people on the 3CX forum.

This is the video of the T33G locking up on dialing an external number,

which happens a lot on internal and external calls FW 124.86.0.40
