T58W Pro no EHS possible - carlosmp - 03-31-2023 08:59 PM

Hi,

I recently got a T58W Pro with the bluetooth handset to test. Works well, although had a bit of issue doing the initial pairing. When i hooked up my Plantronics SAVI 8200 using the EHS40, there is no audio coming to the phone. is there some limitation to using a headset with this phone in the "pro" configuration with the bluetooth headset? I've tried the same Savi i use with my T57W, and T54's in the office, so pretty certain it's not the Headset or cable. The headset light comes on, but no audio is "fed" to the Plantronics

Hi,

The EHS40 is supported by the T58W and should work correctly, but only if the firmware is on v85 or later.
Please check if the T58W is running on firmware version 85 or higher.

Phone is on 150.86.0.5. Hardware is 150.1.1.0.1.0.32. Going to try an update to 150.86.0.50 to see if it makes any difference...

Not sure why that is, but on the Tested headset list compatible with Yealink IP Phone document from Yealink it clearly says "Savi 8200(8210/8220/8240) not applicable toT58A/V/W".
