W60B - URL for Remote Phone Book - Bosstoad - 12-31-2022 03:53 AM

I am trying to set up a Remote Phone Book for my W60B / W56H using a central PC ( Not a Server ) running Windows 11.
I have Tried
http://192.168.0.81/users/bosst/VOIP/Remote.xml
and also putting the xml file into the Root Directory on the C: drive but each time when I go to the Directory on the W56H I am getting 'Connect Error'
Can Anyone help please.

Hi Bosstoad,

How do you expect the file to get served to the phone? In order for a file to be accessed by another device on the network you need to be running a web server application on the computer that will listen for requests and serve the file to the phone.

Setting up a web server isn't that complicated, you can use something like HFS (https://www.rejetto.com/hfs/), but you need to know some stuff to do it correctly.
