According to the "Yealink MP56-Teams Edition Datasheet" it is possible to upgrade to SfB edition, but I don't know if it is still possible to downgrade the device to Teams after that.

I agree. I downloaded and tried to install the firmware for Skype for Business on to the Mp54 and the MP56 but it failed. The firmware currently installed on the MP54 and the MP56 is 122.15 the Skype for Business firmware is 122.09. It does not appear that the firmware can be rolled backwards. I am waiting on more information from Yealink engineers.

Yealink Support has sent me an updated version for Skype for Business version 122.9.1.6 that can be installed on the MP54 and MP56 which will allow the phone to be converted from Teams version 122.15.0.91.
