Yealink Compatibility - Kestrel4765 - 08-22-2022 01:23 AM

Yealink DECT technology is apparently based on CAT-iq2.0, but is not compatible with any third-party DECT devices such as base stations, handset, etc.

I thought CAT-iq2.0 was now a standard, in which case Yealink DECT devices ought to be compatible with others that use the CAT-iq2.0 standard.

Are they compatible in practice, or is the Yealink implementation of the standard such that it renders Yealink DECT incompatible with other CAT-iq2.0 DECT devices?

Third-party DECT devices are not compatible with the Yealink DECT solution. Yealink DECT technology is based on CAT-iq, and has self development, especially on enhancing audio quality and stability.
