T43-U incoming calls do not land on the correct line/button - rtfm2022 - 05-04-2022 09:22 PM

Dear All,
i've been trying to test and use Yealink phones for our organization and i am facing the following problem:

I have set up a Yealink T-43U phone with 8 lines.

Whenever i have incoming calls on lines 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8 then the correct and corresponding line/button flashes.

However, whenever i have incoming calls on lines 5 or 6 then the call lands on Line 1. If i disable Line 1, then the calls land on Line 2, etc. Only when i disable line 1-2-3-4 the correct Line/button flashes.

I have tried to change the sequence, but the same happens! I guess it has to do deal with the specific numbers, as they are from the same ITSP, but what could be thee cause? If there is something wrong with those 2 numbers, why do they accept calls normally when i disable all other lines?

Can anybody help us?

Hi,

Please reset the phone to factory settings and try again.
Is the phone auto-provisioned or installed manually?
Is the phone running on the latest firmware version?

Hi,

You are also saying: "I have tried to change the sequence, but the same happens!".
Have you switched the numbers belonging to lines 5 and 6 with e.g. line 2 and 3 to see what happens?
Is the phone connected to some kind of PBX?

i performed reset to factory defaults (again).
i added only lines 5 and 6 with a new sequence of 1 and 2. result: the same! when i call line 1 it's ok, when i call line 2 again it's line 1 that the call lands on...

Hi,

If all phone lines come from the same ITSP then I think you have to contact them.
Maybe a configuration issue at their site, because you have changed lines 5 and 6 to lines 1 and 2 and the same issue occurs.
