T54W running .23 firmware, Plantronics CS540 headset with Yealink EHS40. Customer is reporting the headsets stop working intermittently. When they go off hook they just here a click. The problem goes away after they reboot th phone and or headset base.

I experienced the same issue with .23 (w/ a Jabra Engage 75 headset connected via USB) earlier this year. Unfortunately, the Yealink support was of no help. I ended up returning the phone with the broken firmware to Amazon, getting a new one and keeping it on 96.85.0.5.

Have you been able to solve the issue?

We've had the same issue on many phones too.
The only fix is to reboot the phone, but this is only temporary.

Other resellers are also having the same issue. Attached screenshots

T54W - Firmware: 96.86.0.63 and 96.86.0.72

Would suggest opening a ticket again with Yealink support, there is new firmware available for the EHS40, had a similar case where an update of the EHS40 was the solution.
