RPS MAC Removal - Kopernikus - 02-04-2022 06:50 AM

Hello, I hope someone can help me here! I have received a phone from my provider, which I would like to configure myself. However, my SIP configuration is constantly overwritten again by the auto provision function. For this reason I would like to delete it. I went to this page "https://ticket.yealink.com" clicked on RPS Mac Removal, entered my Serial and Mac address and then clicked "submit". Now a window pops up asking for my RPS account and password. I don't have an RPS account because I configure my phone manually. What can I do?

Yes it is very simple. Register with Yealink, create a username and password, then log in and request removal of the device mac from the RPS service and they will do it.

Let me know if you managed it

I have the same kind of issue Right now I have 3 of the approx 100 phones that are tied to some other phone provider and the BVoIP Zero touch portal can't take over the phones untill Yealink removes them from RPS. Please help we can't factory reset these 3 phones.

I believe you must open a ticket with Yealink : http://ticket.yealink.com/

Or, if you have a distributor, you can talk to them and they can help set you up.

Did this ever get resolved???

I have the same issue. 3CX reseller. I have asked my trunk provider (BreezeConnect) to help set me up an account. But when I request the MAC for a phone to be removed via the ticketing system, I add the mac and serial number, then hit submit, but then get asked for either and RPS account and RPS password, or to use an AccessKey ID to authenticate. My trunk provider doesn't know what that means so they just submit a release request through their systems, but it's not convenient. Any help would be great.

Regards,

Rob.

You will need a RPS Account to do this. Or you will first need to createa a ticket to have them removed and/or to request an RPS Account.

Go Here:

https://ticket.yealink.com/portal/mac-removal

Notice from that site:
1. You can use your own RPS account to delete MAC addresses that were bound to another enterprise.
2. One Ticket account is only allowed to release 20 MAC addresses from the RPS in 24 hours.
3. If any problems with this self-service tool or there are more MAC addresses that need to release urgently, please click HERE to create a Ticket.

Hope that helps!
