Hello. As I know, IP address can be depicted in the following ways:
  • As a dotted-decimal. For example 192.168. 1.5.
  • As a binary, as in 11000000.10101000. 00000001.00000101.
  • As a hexadecimal value: c0. a8. 01.05.

An IP address has two primary functions: it identifies the host, or more specifically its network interface, and it indicates the host's position in the network, allowing a path to be established to that host. Its function has been described as follows: "What we're looking for is indicated by a name. Its location is indicated by an address. A route is a map that shows how to go somewhere." [2] The IP addresses of the sender and receiving hosts are included in the header of each IP packet. if you want to more details kindly click Write my assignment for me, share your issues and get the answers.
