W52P Firmware upgrade - aunijaffer@gmail.com - 09-06-2021 05:16 PM

I am trying to upgrade the firmware.
I have reset the base unit many times but the settings tab on the web interface is allways missing
Is there another way, or perhaps I am doing something incorrectly
Any help greatly appreciated

Hi,

Maybe the base is running customized firmware?
The firmware should be something like: 25.x.0.x where .0. is very important... this is native Yealink firmware.

Thanks for your prompt response. I attach a photo of the web interface. Is it possible that the settings menu is not available because the base unit is attached to an rps server?[attachment=6019]

Yes, this is very well possible that your VoIP provider don't want you can see and change anything in the Settings tab.

Many thanks for your help. I upgraded the firmware and now the setting tab on the web interface is visible
