T58 Call Park and Transfer Problems - user42491 - 08-03-2021 09:11 PM

Hi, we have been updated to the latest firmware on our T58 phones and having some problems with call parking and transferring calls.

Call Park:
We have the park orbits set up on the sidecar. These used to work fine - you could press the button to put the call on park (and the phone would say "call parked"), people at another phone could press the button to pick it up. Simple.

But now if you try to park with the sidecar buttons, you get no response from the phone when you do it. The button lights up red but if you try to pick it up with the same button it says "no callee". The only way to retrieve the call is to either manually type in the extension for the park (801, 802) or with the touch screen buttons that we had to configure to put park 1 and 2 on it to make it useable for now (we can't fit all 4 because we need to have pickup, xvm, and our hold lines).

Transfering:
We used to just transfer a call by hitting the transfer button on the touch screen and then hitting the extension button for that person and it would send the call and the screen would say something like "call transferred".

Now, when you try to do that, the person's extension rings back to you. If you hang up, the call MAYBE gets transferred or more often than not just stays on your hold line.

Please help!!! Huh

Hi,

Don't know if this will help, but if Call Park and Transfer were working fine with the previous firmware and after the upgrade gives issues, then I recommend to reset the phone to factory default, re-provisioning it and try again.

Hope this will help.
