W80B but shipped as DM, how to change ? - MYCOMPUTING - 05-28-2021 05:57 PM

Hi,

We have 1 W80DM and 2 W80B.
Firmwares : 103.83.0.90

Obviously... all are shipped as W80DM...

W80DM = DM
2 W80B = 2 "DM standalone"

How to change from "DM Standalone" to B ?
We test W80B-103.83.0.90.rom, but it says "Firmware update failed! ROM version same Rebooting, please wait ..."
We test W80DM Interim-103.83.0.79.rom => Software fail
We test DM Interim-103.83.0.69.rom => Software fail

Please help

Cordially,
MY COMPUTING

Hi,

It is not possible to change the basestation role from firmware version .90, see release notes.

Please advice how to change the base mode from Dect Manager role back to Base station role. All my Base stations become Dect Manager after I update my Dect Manager from 103.83.0.30 to 103.83.0.90.

It seems like you're looking for help with changing the firmware of some devices from "DM Standalone" to "B." This can be a technical process, and it's important to ensure that the correct firmware is used to avoid any issues. I recommend reaching out to the manufacturer or a technical support specialist for assistance with this matter. They will be able to provide you with the necessary guidance and support to successfully update the firmware of the devices.
