I don’t understand how it works. - Andrei9385 - 03-17-2021 08:04 PM

Hello. Could you tell us how it works and what are the possibilities?
Do I understand correctly?

To configure I need two files:

boot and cfg

What does the first file do? Where can I get it?

You need either boot file or two configuration files. One will be called lik y00000000xx.cfg where xx are series of devices. The second one are <mac_adress>.cfg. The configuration parameters of the files are different and you need to be aware of that. For example you can't pass account login and password in common file (y00000000xx.cfg) but only in mac file.

I recommend you to read the Yealink SIP-T2 Series T4 Series T5 Series CP920 IP Phones Administrator Guide V85.1.pdf from support site of Yealink.
