Does anyone know if there is an app or feature(either paid of free!) out there that will allow you to send a text message from the phone? Reason being is that a lot of people will respond significantly quicker to a text message than they will either to an email or even a phone call. As we do not want every customer to have our cell phone numbers, we do not want to send a text message from them, and with the cost of phones and plans these days it's not justifiable to buy a cell phone for the sole purpose of sending a text message on occasion.

What I know is that your VoIP provider must support/provide SMS messaging.
Not every provider support this.
