security.user_password dosn't work since 85.0.5 ROM - proofy - 09-21-2020 08:13 AM Ich habe I have updated the T46S to the latest version with the ROM T46S(T48S,T42S,T41S)-66.85.0.5.rom After that the LDAP search filter finally worked, if it is a bit longer. But now I have another problem, that with the provisioning parameter (security.user_password) the admin password for the phone can't be set anymore. This leads after the reboot to an error message in the phone that the default password is still used and you have to set the password manually. This is of course not practicable with many phones. So how can you set the admin password after the upgrade with the provisioning? Setting the admin's password does not work with Auto Provisioning. It works with V84. After upgrading the firmware to V85 it does not work anymore and the phone gets the default password. The phone will then of course display this as a warning in the form of a red triangle and the staff will call you to tell you what is wrong with your phone. You can set the admin password manually in the Web-UI. But this is not a solution for many phones. I have tested the parameter on my T46S with the firmware 66.85.0.5 but it can set the admin password normally by auto p.
