Phone Book not showing name - Dominik333 - 08-31-2020 03:29 PM

Hi,

I Imported now a bunch of contacts, not ideal but ok. I can dial them from the book but when I check the called list or when a call is coming in it doesn't show me the name.

So what is wrong?
Number format is +49123456789

thx
Dom

Hi Dom,

Please check if "Call Information Display Method" is set to "Name+Number"
This can be found here: Settings > Call Display

Take note: The number in the Phonebook must be exactly the same as the number you received.
If the number in your phonebook is +49123456789 and the number you received is 0049123456789 or 49123456789 then there is no match.

BTW: have you solved the issue in your other thread?

Hi,
this was switched on, so can't be the problem.

I don'T understand why an iPhone, or software phone Amego or Daylite, can handle +49 or 0049, this should be standard.

The other problem I didn't really solve, I bought a program which can create proper csv filles from contacts. Copying them into numbers added something like Ä≠ or Ä: infant the number. Only detected this by opening the csv file in word.

thx anyway.
