incorrect pin during registration of a second handset - barny - 07-09-2020 07:03 PM Hi, we have 6 Yealink W60B, for two of them I bought a second handset. When I try to register the handsets I get "incorrect pin". I took the same pin witch I used for connecting to the base. Is that not the right one, or is there another problem? Regards Bernd RE: incorrect pin during registration of a second handset - complex1 - 07-09-2020 08:06 PM (07-09-2020 07:03 PM)barny Wrote: Hi, Hi Bernd, Are the two handset you bought new out of the box of used ones? Please check if the area (Status > Handset > Area) of all handsets are the same. e.g. Area: Europe or Area: North America. Change the PIN to another code, e.g. 1234 and try again to register the handset with the new PIN. Try to register it on the base with wrong pin. I got the same answer "wrong pin". Shortly before I connected the base with the changed pin 1234. Last thing you can do before submit a support ticket @ Yealink is to reset the base to factory default and try to register both or more handsets to the base. Perhaps the base allowed only one handset to register????? |
