T58 Android App APK files - JasonP - 05-27-2020 07:35 PM

Hello,

I am using T58A phones with firmware version 58.85.0.5. I would like to install Android apps onto the phones. Is there a list of compatible apps I could install?

Can someone please provide a link to a compatible Play store apk?

Some other apps I would be interested in getting compatible install files for would be Zoom and Skype.

Skype and Zoom should be compatible based on the APP Compatibility List from Yealink (it's quite and outdated list, but the newer versions are probably the same.)

Any other app that you want to try I'd tell you to just go ahead and try to insatll it and see how it is. (Personal recommendation, as far as I can see an app cannot realley 'break' anything. Though Yealink has a Disclaimer for Unauthorized Apps on Yealink Android-based Phones.)

You can get APK files for most apps on sites like APKMirror and APKPure (both are known and reliable.)

Thank you for the reply. I have tried multiple different .apk files and have not been able to run any of them successfully on the T58. Are there known working file links from Yealink where I can get google play, Zoom, Skype, etc? I have seen older forum posts where Yealink included download links but those have all expired.

Can anyone confirm that the Yealink T58 uses ARM architecture. That is my best guess but I don't see any documentation confirming that.
