T58 with Ver. 85 Fails to Transfer [Resolved] - Yisroel_MongoTEL - 05-04-2020 05:50 PM

Hi,

I wonder if anyone else encountered such an issue (I had it on two phones already.)

After updating to the new firmware version recently released (85) the phone will sometimes (intermittently, but quite a number of times already) fail to transfer a call (using Blind Transfer, either by using a BLF key or by pressing the Transfer key.)

It drops the call from the screen completely, but there is no REFER sent (capturing the traffic) and the phone actually knows that it still holds the call (can't change configuration because of Talking and I can still see the traffic of the call coming in and out until the other party hangs up.)

To add, I've has this same bug with a T46S using the new firmware.

I am downgrading now because of this issue too.

Thankfully Yealink is on it, and they aim to have a newer firmware with a fix released soon (maybe next week.)

Huge thanks to Yealink Support for their work on this! They shared a newer firmware version (x.85.0.14) that fixes this issue. I tested it and it seems to work without issues!

Those are the firmware files, you can use them if you want to:
