Remote PhoneBook format for T38G - aralmeida - 10-01-2019 04:29 PM Does the T38G support multiple departments in a single Remote PhoneBook? The file generated the Yealink PhoneBook Generator gives the error "Load Remote phonebook error". Firmware version: 38.70.0.221 PS: Can i use the y0000000000xx.cfg for auto-provisioning this phone? Thank you RE: Remote PhoneBook format for T38G - Chris708 - 10-02-2019 05:06 PM Hmm...haven't worked on T38's in a while. If it works like newer Yealinks, it will support multiple phonebooks (5 I think) but there may be a limit on the total # of contacts allowed. I'll see what I can dig up. We do have some clients with T38G's AND who use contacts. There were more options for controlling contacts, blacklist, etc on the newer Yealink phones. Also, I have never used the PhoneBook Generator. I have read documentation and also created a phone book and exported to review the format as well as other research. ----- Here are the lines I used to configure remote phonebook ----- remote_phonebook.data.1.url = http://[your remote web location here]/Contacts1.xml remote_phonebook.data.1.name = Contacts 1 remote_phonebook.data.2.url = http://[your remote web location here]/Contacts2.xml remote_phonebook.data.2.name = Contacts 2 |
