T48S SFB + EXP40 - Gianb - 08-19-2019 04:26 PM
Just purchased an EXP-40 for to use on our T48S SFB. We purchased this for our receptionist to see who is on the phone, be able to park calls, transfer, etc... However I cannot find anyway to program DSS keys in the current SFB firmware. Firmware on the phone is up to date. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If none of this can be done on the SFB firmware, then we will need to return the module.

Hi Sir,
The Skype for Business firmware is different SIP firmware. And you can't edit the Dsskey(on phone or EXP40) directly, you can only use it to display the contact list, and it can support Speed Dial and Transfer features only.

Can you point me to the where to find Instructions for programming the transfer feature?

Hi Sir,
In talking interface, you can press the transfer softkey to perform attended transfer. After pressing the transfer softkey, then you can select the target number(Dss Key) on EXP, as a speed dial. Then you can finish the transfer operation.
Or press the blind-transfer softkey to perform blind transfer.
