T42S do not display icon in YealinkIPPhoneStatus line - oliv - 08-16-2019 04:16 PM
Hello,
I registered a 66.84.0.15-enabled T42S to an Asterisk instance. This instance is configured to send SIP NOTIFY messages.
When receiving the bellow message, the T42S status displays text correctly but icon is missing (see page 56 in v83 XML Browser Developper Guide).
I tried with Message, Forward and DND icons.

This is Garry from Yealink support team, nice to know you.
There are no problems with your procedures and configuration files. DND icon or Forward icon does not appear due to the T42S screen design. The T42S has a limited screen size, with two lines of keys on the left and right sides. To ensure screen display, we do not support displaying ICONS in the T42S text display area.

Then, maybe, an explicit mention "For T42S, Txx ... this parameter is ignored" should then be added in XML Browser Dev guide (in page 56 of current v84_10 version).
