Skype Device Update - bob.smith@intellinet - 05-16-2019 03:01 PM

Hi I have 30 T58's that are running firmware 55.9.0.2 and 30 that are on 55.9.05, I want to use the Skype front end server to get them all on the same firmware. I have the 55.9.0.5 cab imported and it shows in the Device Update tab in the Skype control panel. I reboot the phone or leave it idle overnight while signed in and it never updates to 55.9.0.5, in the logs I never see the phone make a request for the updated firmware.
Wondering what the issue is, I have old LPE devices that are getting updated firmware without issue so I don't think it's the front end server that is the issue.

HI

You can download the firmware version in ROM format and upgrade it via the phone web page.

I see the same problem on my devices. The phone never checks in to check for updates. We have Polycom CX500/CX600 updating via Skype server.
What DHCP options have you set?
