Mass Factory Reset - stratos - 05-13-2019 08:38 PM

Hi,

Is there anyway to factory reset a mass of Yealink phones at one time? Instead of going around to each phone or logging into each phone? It is approximately 100 phones that will need done. We are switching hosted VOIP providers and will need to autoprovision them to the new hosted VOIP provider.

Thanks!

HI

You can find an agent to buy Yealink Device Management Cloud Serviceļ¼Œ
After the phone is bound, you can restore the factory settings in batches with one click.

Best Regards

So there's no option to do this without buying it?

You can do it yourself with some work. You have to:
a) Setup a provisioning server that will let you take control of the phones and register them to something other than the current system.
b) Once that is done, build a script that will send a SIP notify to each phone telling it to factory default.

Otherwise I am not aware of any auto provisioning value that says "Factory reset" to the phone. It might well exist I've just never heard of it or had any need for such.
