T46S voicemail key not working (off hook) - Advance2000 - 04-26-2019 03:43 PM
hello all.
we have recently upgraded T46S's to 84.0.15 and we are unable to dial voicemail while the phone is off hook. pressing the Message key does nothing while the receiver is lifted. it works fine when the phone is on hook or not on speakerphone.
please advise.

Any update to this? It still seems to be the case and no new firmware yet.
I am trying 83.0.50 to see if it works with that version.

We have the same issue with T41s running the latest firmware. Other forums report the same issues with other Yealink handsets. We have a number of customers complaining about this.
Can anyone from Yealink acknowledge this issue?

Hi,
I cannot reproduce the issue on a T57W.
When the phone is off hook I can dial the voicemail number or press the Message key successfully.
Please reset the phone to factory default and try again.

I have received a report of this issue as well. Tried reproducing the issue on some of our own devices and would like to share my results. I just so happened to have 2 T42S devices with the old and new firmware here with me.
Issue Description:
Voicemail Key not responding when handset is off the hook. When Handset is on the hook, voicemail works on speaker. Handset can be lifted after initiated through speakerphone.
Reproduction Steps:
Lift handset off of cradle. Press "Message" button. Phone should connect straight to voicemail extension.
Results:
- SIP-T42S (66.83.0.55) - Voicemail Connected
- SIP-T42S (66.84.0.35) - Non Responsive
- SIP-T46S (66.84.0.35) - Non Responsive
- SIP-T48S (66.84.0.35) - Voicemail Connected

It's not a huge issue but could be a bug in the firmware. ... I've seen other users who've updated to v16 have the same issues with Yealink. ...
