Forward certain phone #'s only - Chris708 - 03-11-2019 01:36 PM

Is there a way to have specific phone numbers forwarded to a different extension or phone number while having all other calls come through?

We don't want the call blocked in this case but the person keeps leaving messages on the wrong extension and have been repeatedly made known of the issue.

We don't have a lot of control over our cloud PBX in this regard (routing specific incoming phone numbers) except that we can block specific #'s but that is not needed in this case.

Even if we have to include the number into the local phone directory of the phone, that might be ok as well.

Hi Chris,

Yes, this is possible (tested on T48G)
Please log in your phone, go to Directory > Local Directory and under Directory, add the specific number(s) you want to forward.
Then under "Auto Divert" add the destination number.

We ended up just getting rid of the option to leave a voicemail but your answer was the perfect solution.

Hi, I have the exact same problem, as I did in the instructions written in this post, the problem did not resolve

Dariushatay - Can you explain what you did or re-review the steps? I tried the above and it did work.
The number has to be added to the local phone directory.
