T46G Remote Phone Book - AdamB - 03-06-2019 01:05 PM

Im trying to get the remote phone book to work on my T46G phones. I have a sample file which works well when hosted on an external web URL, when I use an Internal IP or web URL I get SSL errors despite asking for HTTP.
It looks like its not using my internal DNS, It seems to be going out of my local network then back in which is causing the issue. Has any one ever heard of this, is there away to fix this?

I want to keep the directory internal so I can keep it secure and update it via our intranet

Dear Customer,

This is Mike from Yealink Technical Support team, good day.

I am troubled to get the diagnostic file of the phone according to the operation of the following link.(http://support.yealink.com/faq/faqInfo?id=707)

Friendly Tip: Diagnostic files in both cases that can be used normally and not used properly need to be obtained

Best Regards,

Mike

HI Mike,

I found the issue in the end. It was IP ranges. I assume its a bug in the f/w as the phone was on 192.168.0.1 and the phone book on 192.168.1.1 despite the phone having the right subnet it wouldn't access it, by moving the phonebook to 192.168.0.2 it started working
