Hello there.

One of our customers needs to be able to set the ring volume on an admin-level, so the end-user can't change it (proper user training doesn't seem to be an option for him)

It seems to be doable on Yealink T46, according to this thread: http://forum.yealink.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=40981

But I can't find this option in the provisioning-template of a current T41 or T48.

Is this ever going to be implemented again or is there another way to do that?

Hi,

Maybe is this what you are looking for?

You can configure the phone to automatically reset the speaker’s/handset’s/headset’s volume to the specified level after each call or just persist and stay at the same level between calls.

The parameters in the auto provision template are described as follows:
Code:
voice.handfree.autoreset_spk_vol =
voice.handset.autoreset_spk_vol =
voice.headset.autoreset_spk_vol =

Hello.

I think I've found the problem.
We are using 3CX as phone server and 3CX seems to use different templates with less functions.

In the AutoProvisioningTemplate from Support.Yealink there is the needed "force.voice.ring_vol=" parameter.
Only in the 3CX-Template of Yealink T4x there is neither the "force.voice.ring_vol=" nor the ones you've mentioned.

I'm going to try if I can use the other template which has much more options.
