Hello,
we are trying to setup Remote PhoneBook on a T38G running firmware
38.70.0.186.
RemotePhoneBook.xml was generated using Yealink Tool (Excel).
When using Directory/Remove PhoneBook we get the error:
"Open remote phonebook error!"
We are using an ftp url in the following manner:
ftp://user:pass@192.168.9.222/tftp/PhoneBook/PhoneBook.xml
Can you provide some guidance on the subject or logs that can show what is happening?

I was getting a similar error for remote phone books. I downloaded the generation tool provided by Jeremy 17 here. http://forum.yealink.com/forum/showthread.php?pid=61379 and it worked great.
We use a wampserver for local and remote directories and separate everyone by folders. Then push the address to the phones via auto provision.
i.e Local phone book local_contact.data.url="http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:port/customerfolder/contact.xml"
